It’s been a bad week for black men who rule the world of R&B music. First, it was BuzzFeed’s explosive story about R. Kelly being some type of $ex slavemaster of some all-woman cult.

Then by midweek, there was Radar Online’s damning exposé about eight-time Grammy Award winner Usher Raymond (pictured). It turns out the “Let It Burn” hit maker did exactly that: Burn somebody in the worst way.

According to court documents that eventually got into the hands of a secret Radar correspondent, Mr. Raymond paid $1.1 million to settle a disgusting lawsuit.

The lawsuit was filed by a woman named Maya Fox-Davis. She actually served as a bridesmaid for Tameka Foster, Raymond’s ex-wife. Foster’s divorce from Raymond was finalized in 2009. Raymond then began or continued a $exual relationship with Fox-Davis.

According to the legal complaint filed several years ago by Fox-Davis’ attorney, Raymond knowingly infected her with the herpes virus after “being exposed” to the STD in either 2009 or 2010. In 2012, Raymond posted a check for $2,754.40 to cover Fox-Davis’ medical bills.

Poof! Missing Documents To Erase Student Loan Debts

Thursday, July 20th, 2017

A foul-up over some lost paperwork has literally wiped away the student loan debt for a myriad of borrowers who collectively owed billions of dollars.

According to the New York Times, around $5 billion worth of private student loan debt has been eliminated due to the fact that creditors have lost a lot of critical documents, which validated their cases against borrowers. Practically all of the borrowers were people who had fallen upon hard times and were unable to keep up their monthly payments.

The New York Times also reported that the creditors at these private education funding companies were fighting borrowers in court to force them to pay. Dozens of lawsuits have already been dismissed because courts have seen many errors in these collection cases, including inadequate ownership records and mass-produced documents.

The entire $108 billion-dollar private student loan debt crisis has all of the hallmarks of the 1990s to early 2000s sub-prime mortgage disaster. During this decade-long economic quagmire, a vast number of collection cases were tossed out by judges who heard arguments from creditors with fake documentation and other forms of malfeasance.

Rap Mogul “Uncle Luke” Says Miami Heat NBA Team Does Nothing For Local Black Kids In Sports

The Floridian municipality of Miami-Dade County is synonymous with the NBA’s Heat franchise, the MLB’s Marlins franchise, and the NFL’s Dolphins franchise.

The Southeast coastal region of Florida is also synonymous with a bounce-heavy style of hip-hop music, which still influences the more modern sonic Southern rap sounds of other places, such as New Orleans, Louisiana and Atlanta, Georgia. One of the early pioneers of this urban music sound bed was Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell (pictured).

Campbell, 56, is a veteran hip-hop impresario who was a founding member and leader of the highly controversial, yet legendary Miami-based rap group 2 Live Crew. Campbell is also an established song producer with a highly-valued music publishing catalog. He has also enjoyed slivers of fame as an actor in a number of motion pictures.

However, more importantly, Campbell is a steward and strong social advocate for Miami’s underprivileged and forgotten black youth population. He is particularly active in coordinating youth sports initiatives in the inner-city.

The music mogul used social media to announce in 2014 that he was a defensive coordinator for the Miami Norland Senior High School football team. Campbell also is using another one of his hats as a newspaper columnist for the Miami New Times to advocate for black children who are athletes.

This Disease Causes Severe Hair Loss For Black Women

Wednesday, July 19th, 2017

By Victor Trammell

Spectrum News NY1, a cable news channel that serves all five boroughs of the Greater New York City Metro Area did a special report on Saturday (July 15th), which covered a common disease that primarily affects women of African descent.

Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia (or CCCA) is a disorder that causes hair loss in the scalp’s central area. It is not completely clear to mainstream dermatologists how or why CCCA affects roughly 40 percent of black women at some point during their lifetime.

However, many experts blame the usage of hot combs, excess heat and hot oils applied to the scalp, chemical hair relaxers, repeated tension from braids, tight hair rollers, weaves, extensions, as well as hereditary factors.

Venee Kimpson, a black woman who was diagnosed with chronic CCCA 15 years ago told Spectrum News NY1 that it has been difficult for her to accept her ordeal. She experienced discoloration in her scalp, itching, and eventually substantial hair loss.

“It was difficult to muster up the strength to go out every day. People would stare at you. You felt like they knew what was going on under that turban,” Kimpson told Spectrum News NY1 in her exclusive interview.

Professional tennis champion Serena Williams (pictured right) has broken her silence regarding the negativity that was spewed over the internet from jealous social media users who disapprove of her interracial relationship.

The 35-year-old, 39-time Grand Slam winner reportedly started dating Reddit co-founder and executive chairman Alexis Ohanian (pictured left) in 2015. The couple became formally engaged in late 2016. Ohanian, 34, is the son of two European immigrants from Armenia. He has done very well for himself as a tech entrepreneur.

In April 2017, the engaged couple announced they were expecting their first child.

However, black people and white people in America voiced their disgust over Ohanian’s interracial relationship with Williams. Tennis coach and former world class tennis player Ilie Nastase was even suspended from his coaching job in professional tennis for using his social media account to post racist statements about Williams and Ohanian.

Recently, Williams did a one-on-one interview with Brittaney Trent, an anchor, and correspondent for Yahoo Sports. In her exclusive interview, which was published online Tuesday (July 18th), Williams actually spoke out about the negative backlash over her relationship on camera as opposed to posting about it on social media accounts.

Harris, 52, is a junior senator who was the elected Democrat that filled the U.S. Senate seat, which was formerly held by Barbara Boxer (D).

Boxer was a career politician who served in the U.S. Senate representing the state of California for almost a quarter of a century. Prior to winning Boxer’s senate seat, Harris served as the elected District Attorney of the City and County of San Francisco, California.

Harris also ascended to becoming elected as the 32nd Attorney General of the State of California. She had a reputation of being a tough prosecutor who revolutionized the punishment given to defendants who are found guilty of hate crimes. Harris is a biracial woman of Indian-American and Jamaican-American descent.

A teacher who works at a Jacksonville, Florida elementary school that is named after a prominent, historical black American figure is facing disciplinary action for what allegedly came out of her evil and racist mouth.

According to WJAX-TV, a local CBS News-affiliated media outlet based in Jacksonville, Jordan Cataldo (pictured), a teacher at Carter G. Woodson Elementary School might be out of a job. Cataldo reportedly said some terrible things as the previous school year was coming to a close this past May.
