Jada Pinkett-Smith (pictured right) has been featured heavily in the pop culture headlines recently for a handful of reasons.

First, there were the negative “All Eyes On Me” reactions from the actress based on how her relationship with slain rapper/actor Tupac Shakur was portrayed in the film.

The biopic (released June 16th) is based on Shakur’s short but iconic life chronicled the years he met Pinkett-Smith, 45, from their days in performing arts school up until the rap legend’s death.

This film was directed by famed hip-hop music videographer Benny Boom and was executive produced by L.T. Hutton, a music producer who worked with Shakur during his days at Deathrow Records.

Pinkett-Smith slammed Hutton and other “All Eyes On Me” filmmakers for producing a “deeply hurtful” movie. “Pac never read me that poem,” Pinkett-Smith wrote to followers on her Facebook and Twitter pages.

“I didn’t know that poem existed until it was printed in his book. Pac never said goodbye to me before leaving for LA. He had to leave abruptly and it wasn’t to pursue his career. I’ve never been to any of Pac’s shows by his request. We never had an argument backstage,” she continued.
